Wallaloo Park breeds multi-purpose merinos suitable for all wool growing areas of Australia and Overseas.
Specializing in multi-purpose sheep has allowed Wallaloo
Park to extend into markets from high rainfall / high DSE zones of southern
Victoria, the Dry pastoral zones of North-western NSW/ QLD, SA, New Zealand
mountain country, South America and USA.
At Wallaloo Park we have always focused on the key
profit drivers of fecundity, wool and meat. Our high fertility flock
is proving to be a trump card in these times of depressed wool prices,
with client's ewes weaning 120% lambs and cutting over 7 kgs of 19 micron
av per head.
The quiet temperament of the Plain-Bodied Wallaloo
Park merinos maximizes the potential returns for more lambs, early maturity
and the special fibre our animals produce.
